Colleague Reviews
Production Department Manager Peter
Yina does not passively accept knowledge but is driven by inner passion, proactively embracing every challenge and new knowledge at work. Whether it was taking over the ERP system, AI tools, or system knowledge when she first joined, she always had a sparkle in her eyes and energy in her heart, viewing learning as an enjoyable exploration rather than a burden. She is willing to step out of her comfort zone, actively participates in technical sharing and training, and is adept at immediately applying what she has learned to optimize work methods and solve practical problems.
Warehousing and Logistics Department Manager Elina
She consistently approaches work with a positive and optimistic attitude, demonstrating excellent execution skills and efficiently completing assigned tasks. Her ability to self-learn is particularly outstanding. When the company promoted AI learning, she proactively explored and quickly transformed it into work efficiency, showing remarkable results in data processing and process optimization. Even more commendable is that she not only insists on self-improvement but also enjoys sharing experiences through internal training and hands-on guidance, driving the team to progress together.
Growth Story
1. Embracing Challenges, Laying a Solid Foundation.
In April 2024, Yina joined Gaorui as a production clerk. Facing an unfamiliar ERP system was somewhat like a "primary school student learning high school courses," full of challenges and difficulties.
The early bird gets the worm. To familiarize herself with the work faster, Yina arrived at the company 15-30 minutes early every day to organize the day's task list, completing and marking each item. After finishing, she proactively sought guidance and new tasks from her leader Peter. It was this day-after-day persistence that helped Yina quickly overcome the learning curve.
2. New Home, New Responsibilities, All-round Growth.
In August 2024, due to her conscientious work, Yina was transferred to the newly established warehousing and logistics department. At that time, Yina felt like she had just learned to walk and was about to start running, afraid of disappointing everyone's expectations.
Before transferring to the warehousing department, Yina had zero experience in warehouse management. Since the department was newly established, Yina, as a novice, was anxious. Besides hands-on guidance from her leader, Yina also sought ways to quickly improve her professional skills. Whenever she encountered questions during practical operations, she would ask her leader until she fully understood. Through repeated accumulation, Yina quickly adapted to the new job. She treated Gaorui as her "home" and, with a sense of responsibility for her "home," proactively learned simple packing, wrapping film, palletizing, electric forklift operation, plastic strapping, and more. She ensured she could step in whenever the team needed, guaranteeing the smooth operation of the "home."
After acquiring some skills, just as the finished product team leader position became vacant, Yina voluntarily took on the role of acting team leader and began sharing her learned experiences with newcomers. In a later conversation, I asked her: As a novice, how do you manage to self-learn while sharing your experiences with others? Her exact words were: "Maybe it relates to a habit I have, which is organizing and tidying up, liking things simple and clear, so when anyone needs a batch number, they can quickly find the required product. As for mentoring newcomers, I think we are all striving for the same goal. Once they learn, I can move on to learn new things. With an altruistic mindset, as long as it’s within my capability, I’m willing to do it at work."
3. Taking on Important Responsibilities, Striving for Excellence.
During a routine inventory check, Yina keenly noticed an abnormality in batch inventory of product A (one batch had one extra barrel, another batch had one less). After repeated confirmation, she immediately reported it. Because the issue was discovered and corrected before shipment, a potentially serious consequence was successfully avoided.
Due to her outstanding performance, the leader decided to assign the important task of printing labels to Yina. She deeply understood that labels are the "ID cards" of products and must be flawless and error-free. Every time she received label templates, she printed them and immediately submitted them to the leader for review. When the label printer malfunctioned, she quickly coordinated with procurement and suppliers to resolve the issue, never allowing problems to block the "doorstep" and affect overall shipment.
4. Embracing AI, Smartly Starting the Future.
In recent years, AI has developed rapidly, and the company has consistently promoted AI learning. Yina combined AI tools with actual work, greatly improving work efficiency:
① Production Daily Report: Previously, Yina had to report order lists batch by batch on the ERP system and copy them into the electronic production daily report. After using AI, she directly took screenshots of each product daily from the ERP report, extracted text with AI, and copied it into the electronic production daily report. Then, by using AI to search and extract complex formula applications, she could quickly complete the production daily report. What used to take 3-4 hours now only takes 1 hour, boosting efficiency by 90% and achieving zero errors.
② Production Monthly Report: She fed the monthly production daily reports into AI and instructed it to quickly extract the quantity of each product per day for the month, making it clear at a glance. After extraction, she just copied it into the production monthly report. This task used to take 2 hours but now only takes 10 minutes with AI, increasing efficiency by 95% and achieving zero errors.
③ Batch Merging/Splitting Records: She had to manually copy and paste each batch number from each warehouse location into the batch merging/splitting record electronic file. If the batch splitting quantities did not match the total in the electronic file, manual verification was required, which was time-consuming and laborious. With AI, this task now takes 5 minutes and achieves zero errors.
Driven by a sense of belonging to her "home," Yina takes responsibility and embraces learning with an open mindset, welcoming challenges and new technologies. Through problem-solving and process optimization, she has realized the shared growth of personal and team value.
